1.1 - To become a member of Joint Task Force ( JTF ) you must first submit an application via our Recruitment Form located in the navigation bar.
1.1a - Please choose the appropriate template: Staff and/or Team application form. Upon completion of this form, your application will be processed and a decision made as to whether or not you will become a recruit.
1.1b - You will not be considered or added to any of our gaming clans/groups/teams if you do not complete this step correctly.
1.2 - Recruits are required to participate on the forums, game servers and Discord server. We want to get to know you and that can’t happen if you’re never playing with us.
1.2a - Typically, after a one-to-two week period, the council and upper management will discuss whether or not the recruit in question will be promoted to a member. Please keep in mind that this decision will be largely affected by the activity provided by the recruit.
1.3 - Regardless of how well you know an admin or another member of the team, there is no “fast track” to be in the clan. Nor is there a way to skip a step. To be fair, staff is also made into a “non-gaming” recruit.
2.1 - All members are required to wear the JTF tag in the games that we play, where applicable.
2.1a - If a member is caught repeatedly not wearing a tag, then it will be assumed that they have no real interest in being part of this team and therefore will be removed. Wearing the tag should come with a sense of pride.
2.2 - Participation in outside clans within our games is not tolerated. Example: Recruiting for another clan, even though you are a member in JTF.
2.3 - By joining our team, you agree to the “Clan Commandments” :
2.3a - Do not insult your fellow JTF members; we are a community and we want to have fun.
2.3b - Do not be blatantly and rudely sexist. Contrary to popular belief, there are women on the Internet, and a few in this clan.
2.3c - Do not hack. We do not tolerate hacking/cheating/glitching in multiplayer games. If you want to participate in such activities, you will be banned.
2.3d - Show respect to your superiors, regardless of situation. We are aware we can be wrong sometimes but try to be respectful when you inform us that we are, if you don’t want to do this, we will remove you.
2.3e - Do not cry when you die, if you do, we'll demote you.
2.3f - You must give us your time. We want active players, we do not want people disappearing for days or weeks at a time without first informing us. If you are going to be gone for a bit, please inform us on the forums.
2.3g - You must try to remain active on the forums at all times. Again, if you need to take a short hiatus, let us know!
2.4 - If you have a problem with another member, please take it up with that person. If you cannot do this, please ask an admin and someone can moderate the session to attempt to find a peaceful resolution.
2.5 - If another member is in violation of a rule, please create a screenshot of the incident or provide solid proof that the incident occurred. Problems that go unspoken also go unfixed.
3.1 - If we contact you and inform you that you are inactive, you have approximately 14 days to become active again or resign from the clan. This is your only warning, so let us know when you are going to be away from the computer for more than 7 days.
3.2 - We dislike inactivity because we like to play, and we don’t like it when our members just disappear without so much as a note – please let us know.
3.2a - We understand that real life takes precedence. We are not ignorant to the fact that things come up that are beyond the control of any parties involved. However, we are not mind readers. Inform us, as we are a very understanding group when it comes to real life matters.
4.1 - ALL Members, regardless of rank of leadership, must follow the rules. Do not make us look like fools or we will relieve you of all duties.
4.2 - Those with powers are expected to use them properly. DO NOT ABUSE THEM. Rage kicking is not tolerated. If you are caught to be rage kicking you will be stripped of your powers immediately.
4.3 - Just because you do not like the map, please ensure that everyone else feels the same before changing it. If at all possible (which we know it is), use the vote-map features for games that allow it. Just because you’re unhappy, doesn’t mean everyone else is.
4.4 - Please understand that not everyone wants what you do. Create a vote before changing the game play (i.e.; switching from normal to gungame, or any other mod that affects game play).
4.5 - Racism is not tolerated. The area between jokes and truth is murky. It is hard to find the line that everyone can agree; so with that being said, don’t be racist. If it could be interpreted as racism, it’s better to just keep the comment to yourself.
4.6 - We expect our members to be decent to those who play on our server – again, do not make us look like fools. We do not want to lose players on our servers because someone decided to offend them or be a jerk.
5.1 - In order to be promoted, you must meet each requirement for the new level.
5.1a - Just because you have met all the requirements, does not mean you will be promoted. You must first be nominated by a high ranking member of the team. (Your squad leader, an officer, or a leader)
6.1 - Should a problem arise with any ruling, players will need to submit a thread in the Appeals board with the following information:
6.1a - Title: [Appeal] [Ruling Name]
6.1b - In the body (content area) please state the ruling, describe the issue, and move for it to be changed. Do not submit an Appeal unless you have a better idea of suggestion, or there is a genuine problem with the ruling.
6.1c - If you’ve spoken with an admin of the clan, please state who you spoke to at the bottom.
6.1d - Do not continuously harass a member of the council or leadership for a response. We will try to get to things in a timely fashion. Attempts to bypass or speed up the process will result in the previous decision becoming finalized and no other chances to appeal will be given.
6.2 - If a leader, officer, or council member is found to be too harsh in a decision or if you feel that the decision was unfair/bias, please submit a thread in the clan section with the following information:
6.2a - Title: [Appeal] [Case Number]
6.2b - In the body (content area) please state the issue at hand (what the case was based on), what decision/action was taken, and plead your case.
6.2c - If it was suggested by an admin to create the thread, please list your sponsor.
6.2d - Do not continuously harass a member of the council or leadership for a response. We will try to get to things in a timely fashion. Attempts to bypass or speed up the process will result in the previous decision becoming finalized and no other chances to appeal will be given.
